LOST Chapter I
(USA, 2015-2019)
This series of imagery serves as a self-portrait of my journey as an expatriate in theUnited States. It commenced with my initial visit to Arizona in 2015 and extended through Texas and California until 2019. These photographs capture my artistic vision and profound connection with nature, unveiling aspects that remain imperceptible to the human eye.
By incorporating my body X-ray photographs into this series, I symbolize the aspect of myself that I left behind in those cherished locations. I left a fragment of my essence in each place, striving to harmonize with nature and discover a renewed sense of self.
Throughout this journey, I experienced both affection for these places and a profound sense of internal disorientation. These photographs document my experiences and emotions, enabling me to establish new roots and seek renewal in the soil of each destination.
