FOUND-CHAPTER-2

FOUND

**Unveiling Unexpected Connections:**

Trees, the Human Nervous System, and Persian Rug Design

This series was created during my injuries in June 2022 and continued after my back surgery in March 2023.

At first glance, trees, the human nervous system, and the Persian rug design appear to be entirely disparate entities. However, a deeper examination reveals intriguing intersections, particularly in the context of human well-being and our relationship with the environment.

Both trees and intricate designs such as Persian rugs can serve as tools for cultivating mindfulness. Individuals can cultivate present-moment awareness and reduce stress through distraction and refocusing by concentrating on the intricate details of a tree’s bark or the patterns within a rug. This practice allows the mind to temporarily detach from concerns, fostering a sense of tranquility and peace.

These forms, reminiscent of a four-dimensional space, invite viewers to engage in a more profound and nuanced perception of their surroundings.

The “Found” project disrupts the foundation of how we perceive nature through the lens of photography. It transcends the limitations inherent to the medium, traditionally defined by capturing singular, static moments. Instead, he unveils the dynamic interplay between time, movement, and our subjective perception of the natural world. These forms, suggestive of a four-dimensional space, invite the viewers to engage in a more profound and nuanced perception of their surroundings.
